Our Beliefs

We desire to continually change ourselves, those around us and the world because of Jesus.

Matthew 28:19-20

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Vision:
We desire to influence our communities and the world that the Kingdom of Heaven is here and to see it realign with God’s love, hope, and grace.

Values:
We desire to be a community on a journey together that is sacrificially serving, multiplying disciples, and passionate about worshiping God.

Sacrificial Service :
The purpose of the Church has always been to continue to be the “hands and feet” of Jesus in our world today and we believe that the Church is called to change the world. We are committed to actively reaching out to the poor, marginalized, and oppressed in the world and in our communities. One of our core values is to put our efforts, service, and skill at work in the community and not in service for ourselves only. We want to be identified by our service in the community and not by our marketing, signs, quality services, and buildings. The goal is not to bring people into our Church or building but to make disciples out in the world, relationally, and in our groups.

Multiplying Discipleship
We are called to make disciples of all nations and we believe the most effective way to grow a congregation is by disciples making disciples. The most effective method we have experienced for multiplication is through small group gatherings where life on life learning out in our community and centered in scripture, changes lives. We believe that it is imperative that ministers invest and equip disciples to love God, love others, and serve others. We want to encourage believers to commit to long term patterns of Spiritual growth and train them in practical skills for ministry, evangelism, and multiplication.

Passionate Worship
We believe worship is an attitude of the heart that desires to glorify God by Spirit and Truth and leads to action. Worship can be expressed through all kinds of actions including music, art, service, work, commitment, hospitality, and giving. We also strive to worship God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength which for us means that we act out of our passion as a “living sacrifice” pouring ourselves out for Christ. We will gather weekly to share relationally, worship together, be transformed through teaching of scripture, and build unity in vision and mission.
